Staurt King: National Diploma in Landscape construction and Amenity Horticulture.

College: 1994 to 1996 (Full-time).

I attended Merist Wood College, a multi-award winning College set in 400 acres and specialising in land-based industries. During this period I played a leading role in the contruction of a garden for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show which was awarded a Silver Medal.

Employment:

After leaving college I gained employment with Cedar Landscapes, a leading gardening company based in Godalming, Surrey. Working throughout London and the home counties, this premium work enabled me to hone both the hard and soft landscaping skills, I use today.

Avalon Landscapes:

Avalon Landscapes was formed in 2002 when I moved to Poole. For the most part I work alone but for larger commissions I engage similarly skilled craftsman who I have established great working relationships with over the years.

I pride myself in being a reliable, methodical, hard working and tidy worker and I'm equally happy to undertake any size of job from replacing fence panels and cutting hedges, to complete garden redesigns of large estates.

It gives me great satisfaction that over 95% my work now comes through client recommendation.
